The Children's Ark Learning Center (CALC) exists to provide a safe environment where children are able to grow in love for God, for others, and for themselves. All our activities encourage positive steps toward building healthy attitudes and values. We provide a stimulating and caring environment designed to promote social, intellectual, physical, and spiritual development for children in the wider community of Visalia. Our preschool program emphasizes diverse learning experiences that encourage positive self-image and joy in the learning process.

Our Goal
Through a well-rounded, planned program, CALC strives to achieve the following goals for our students:
To help children establish themselves “away from home.” To help children learn to interact with their peers. To utilize the rapid learning years of the young child to their fullest potential. To broaden children’s growth experiences: mental, social, emotional, physical, creative, and spiritual. To establish a foundation for future-formal education by forming an early home/school relationship. To develop in children positive attitudes toward themselves and their achievements. To awaken in children the realization that learning is exciting and continuous. To guide children to a growing relationship with Jesus Christ as their Savior. To develop in children an understanding of who they are and how to relate to others through Christian obedience in their lives.
